New York, New York – NumberFire, an analytics framework that empowers sports consumers to make smarter decision has raised $750k of seed funding from RRE Ventures, Penny Black and David Tisch.

As part od the deal, Eliot Durbin, the Managing Director of Penny Black, will be joining the startup’s board of directors.

NumberFire is a product of the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, a seed-funding, mentor-providing NYC-based startup accelerator program.

Boulder, Colorado – Trada, a PPC marketplace that allows agencies and in-house advertisers to leverage the skills of hundreds of the best PPC experts in the world has raised $9 million of series D funding from Google Ventures and Foundry Group.

The new funding will be used for the plan of Trada’s paid search and Facebook ad marketplace. According to the Founder and CEO Niel Robertson, the company will be profitable this year and new marketplace will be available such as mobile PPC campaigns.

New York, New York – DailyWorth, a community of women who talk money has raised $2 million of series A funding from angel investors Joanne Wilson, a blogger and angel investor and Howard Lindzon, the CEO and co-founder of StockTwits and was also backed up by its existing investor Robin Hood Ventures.

The new funding will be used to beyond from a lifestyle website for women and to add new service and launch new editions targeted to women called “MoreWorth” and CreateWorth”.

ScaleArc customers include e-commerce, SaaS, online gaming and digital media companies.

Aside from the new funding, ScaleArc also hired Justin Barney as COO and President. Barney previously worked with Citrix and Juniper Networks.

The new funding will utilized for the additional IT engineers and other workforce for the improvement of the platforms and expanding its community of users.

San Francisco, California – Omada Health, a medical startup focused on combining behavioral science, human-centered design, and new technology to transform disease prevention, while building from established clinical precedent has raised $800k of seed funding from venture capital firms and angels investors including New Enterprise Associates, Kapor Capital, Triple Point Capital and Esther Dyson to name a few.

The startup will be using the new funding for its prototypes and for the grand launching this coming 2012.

Xeround be using the new funding to expand its cloud database solution and to heighten its marketing and sales campaign. Xeround is currently competing with the giant database company salesforce and its database.com services.

New York, New York – Outbrain, the leading content discovery platform used by top media networks such as CNN, Fox News and MSNBC has raised $35 m of series D funding and backedup by former investors Carmel Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The funding will be used to expand its services to other platforms such as mobile and the e-reader industry. As part of the funding deal, Dominique Vidal of Index Ventures, will be joining the company’s Board of Directors.

San Francisco, California – Prezi, a cloud-based presentation software that opens up a new world between whiteboards and slides has raised $14 million of series B funding from Accel Partners and Sunstone Partners. Aside from landing a new round of funding, Prezi also released a new iPad app which allows users to use touchscreen device to present their presentations.

The new round of funding will be used to add new talents, develop new platform support, and expanding to international markets.

San Mateo, California – Edmodo, a private micro-blogging platform built for use by teachers and students for use in the classroom has raised $15 M of series B funding from Greylock Partners and Benchmark Capital.

According to Edmodo Chairman Rob Hutter, the new funding will be used towards hiring engineering talent, and scaling the platform. As part of the funding, Reid Hoffman of Greylock Partners and Benchmark Partner Matt Cohler has joined the board of directors.
