Cincinnati, Ohio – ChoreMonster, a web and mobile application that encourages children to finish house chores has raised $775 thousand of seed funding from Cincinnati-based VC firm CincyTech and some angel investors.

“Getting kids to do their chores is at the top of any parent’s to-do list, while playing fun, interactive games on their computer or mobile device is what the kids care about,” Chris Bergman, co-founder and CEO of ChoreMonster, said in a news release.

The app is now available in iOS devices. The funding is also the first venture for the new early stage seed fund firm Vine Street Ventures, another investment firm from Cincinnati.
