FireEye Raises $50 M of Seed Funding

Milipitas, California – FireEye, a leading provider of cyber security software against malware and other enterprise network attacks has raised $50 million of seed funding from Silicon Valley Bank, Juniper Networks, Goldman Sachs, Norwest Venture Partners and Sequoia Capital.
“FireEye has a great leadership team in place today. The addition of this group of industry veterans expands the wealth of experience to lead FireEye through the next stage of its growth,” said Dave DeWalt, FireEye chairman and CEO.
Aside from the seed funding, FireEye also appointed six key executives including Ken Gonzalez as vice president of corporate development, The funding will be used to expand in international market.
