FanDuel Raises $11 Million of Series C Funding

New York, New York – FanDuel, the leading daily fantasy sports game for NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL has raised $11 million of series C funding from ComCast Capital and backed by previous investors Piton Capital, Pentech Ventures, Bullpen Capital and angel investor Richard Koch.
“FanDuel has done an exceptional job in establishing itself as the leading player in the next generation of fantasy sports,” said Andrew Cleland, Partner, Comcast Ventures. “We see a clear opportunity to introduce the game to a broader set of sports fans and I’m excited to begin working with the company.”
The new funding will be used in expanding the workforce in New York and Edinburgh and also to boost the company’s services in North America.
