Nashville, Tennessee – LiveSchool, a developer of an app for tablets to track progress and manage students data has raised $1.65 million of funding from Nashville Capital Network and its affiliate VC Tennessee Angel Fund.

“The beauty of this product is that it is incredibly simple but it has a tremendous impact on classroom management,” said Chase Perry , director of NCN, a network of Middle Tennessee angel investors. “We interviewed teachers and administrators who use LiveSchool and most of them had tried other methods for solving this problem.”

The new funding will be used in adding features to the app and scaling it to a wider market.
