OpenLabel Raises $80K of Seed Funding

OpenLabel, a startup that wants to connect people and organizations help each other decide whether to buy a products though barcodes with crowd-sourced information has raised $80 k of seed funding from angel investors Peter Kirwan, Tim Drees and Doug Taylor.
According to the Open Label Co-founder Scott Kennedy, the total seed funding is $300,000 and the round will be completed this coming before the official launch of the mobile app this April.
The app is currently in beta and out now for iPhone users and will release a beta version for Android also. The app is open for those who wants to participate in building a crowd=sourced database for the app.
