TuneUp Raises $2 M of Series C Funding

San Francisco, California – TuneUp, a plugin developer for itune has raised $2 million of series C funding from IDG Ventures. The funding will be used to develop a suite of new products, build out the team and increase marketing spend.
“TuneUp plays an important role for music fans who want to get the most from their digital music library,” said Phil Sanderson, Managing Director of IDG Ventures in San Francisco. “We believe that TuneUp represents a very large additive opportunity to the iTunes ecosystem and are excited about developments at the company and the talent they are attracting.”
