Seattle, Washington – CrowdStrike, a security technology company focused on helping enterprises and governments protect their most sensitive intellectual property and national security information has raised $26 M of series A funding from Warburg Pincus.

CrowdStrike is the new startup by George Kurtz, the former CTO of McAffee and also previously worked at Warburg Pincus. The startup is currently in stealth mode and is expected to launch with top notch security features.

Aside from Kurtz, the startup was also co-founded with Dmitri Alperovitch and Gregg Marston.
