San Mateo, California – Drawbridge, a start-up developer of self-learning ad technology that leverages insights from cross-device behavior to enable advertisers and marketers to reach targeted mobile audiences has raised $14 of series B funding from new investor to the company Northgate Capital and existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and Sequoia Capital.
“We were thrilled to participate in this round of funding, which was hotly contested. We have worked successfully in the past with Kleiner and Sequoia in companies such as Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW), Jive Software (NASDAQ: JIVE), and of course AdMob — which led us to Drawbridge,” said Brent Jones, Northgate Capital’s Managing Partner. “They have assembled a world class management team and technology, and the investment team behind them is a reflection of that fact.”
Drawbridge will use the new funding for product development especially in desktop-to-mobile retargeting and in gaining new consumers.
