SugarSync Raises $15 M of Series D Funding

San Mateo, California – SugarSync, a powerful data sync, file sharing and online backup solution ideal for busy professionals and digitally-connected consumers has raised $15 M of series D funding from Coral Group, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Sigma Partners, Hatteras Venture Partners and Hercules Technology Growth Capital.
The new funding will be used to acquire new employees and to add new data centers. SugarSync customers grew up to 600 percent just last year. The funding also brought the company a total of $50 million of capital funding. Yuval Almog of Coral Group will also be taking a chair in SugarSync’s Board of Directors.
