San Francisco, California – Amicus, a startup which empowers cause-driven organizations to leverage the social networks of their supporters, raise more money, attract more members, and win more votes has raised $580,000 from RRE Ventures, NYC Seed, Quotidian Ventures and angel investors Esther Dyson, David Rose and Tabreez, Verjee.
The funding will be used for development expansion and adding new design teams and also according to its CEO Seth Bannon, for every new hire after the funding, they will buy a cow to be given to a family in need in third world countries.
