Chirply, a Y Combinator-backed community of artists and design lovers that want to make better stuff through better design has raised $1.1 M of Series A Funding from Founder Collective and some angel investors such as Netflix founder Marc Randolph, Sling Media’s Blake Krikorian, Keith Rabois of Square, Ash Patel of Yahoo and Dave McClure of 500 Startups.

Chirply will use the new funding for product promotion and for expansion of employees.
