Beijing, China – Evernote, a web service provider which allows users to capture, organize, and find information across multiple platforms has raised $70 M of series D funding from Meritech Capital and CBC Capital.

The company does not actually need a funding since for it has not consumed all the $96 M it has previously raised and it has more than 1 million paying subscriber and more than 25 million active users. The company choose Meritech Capital and CBC Capital for they believe the giant firms can help them with the IPO in the near future. The company has $1 billion valuation.
