Chute Raises $7 Million of Series A Funding

San Francisco, California – Chute, a cloud platform that helps apps and sites capture, manage, and display media files has raised $7 million of Series A funding led by Foundry Group and backed by previous investors Freestyle Capital and U.S. Venture Partners.
Chute is the product of the incubator program Y Combinator and has raised $3 million of funding already. The new capital will be used to expand its products line up and also to be a leader in visual ads platform and interface.

By being the first company to complete the loop and help companies leverage owned and earned media in their paid efforts as well, we are broadening brands’ visual storytelling capabilities and helping them drive deeper relationships with audiences,” said Ranvir Gujral, Co-Founder of Chute.
