SkySQL Soars High with $2.5 M of Series A Funding

Espoo, Finland – SkySQL, an open source software company which provides MySQL-related database technologies and services has raised $25 million ( €2 million ) in series A funding from California Technology Ventures.
SkySQL also added Patrik Sallner as its new CEO which work experience includes being the VP of Professional Services at F-Secure Corporation.
The new funding will be used to expand its services to mySQL users.
