Cambridge, Massachusetts – Basho Technologies, a data storage startup formed by software architects has raised $7.5 M from undisclosed angel investors.
Basho appointed Donald J. Rippert, long time CTO of Accenture, as the company’s new president and chief executive officer.
Basho’s pilot product Riak is an open source database software used for the growing web applications and the storage problems in may cause.
The new funding will be used for product development and additional workforce,
