Watchwith Raises $5 M of Series A Funding

San Francisco, California – Watchwith, a leading television industry platform for sync-to-broadcast content authoring, content management and metadata syndication has raised $5 million of series A funding led by Rogers Venture Partners and backed by existing ventures ARRIS and Gracenote.
“We invest in companies that are innovators in fast-growing markets, and Watchwith is a clear leader in consumer engagement around multi-screen television,” said Mike Lee, General Partner at Rogers Venture Partners. “Watchwith is solving significant problems for broadcasters and TV networks worldwide, and laying the foundations for significant new revenue streams from their programming.”
The new funding will be used to expand Watchwith’s platform-as-a-service provider of cable and TV syndication, tools, advertisers and monetization.
