Pocket Raises $5 M of Series B Funding

San Francisco, California – Pocket, a service that lets you save what you find on the web to watch and read on any device, anytime has raised $ 5 M from Foundation Capital, Baseline Ventures and Google Ventures. This a follow up funding to the $2.5 M the company raised which was was participated by Founder Collective and other angel investors.
Pocket will be using the financing to expand its team, add new platforms like apps for other devices and improve its services but for now the funding will be save for later use.
The company was previous known as Read It Later but was relaunched last April 2012 as Pocket.
