Tango Dances with $42 M of Series B Funding

Tango, a video calling app for smart phones has raised $42 M of series b funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Tango has now 17 million registered user and is now being dubbed as the next Skype. Draper Fisher Jurvetson on the other hand is one of the first investors of Skype.
Tango currently only supports mobile phone platform which allows android users and iphone to video chat with each other despite its difference of platform. Tango plans to release a PC version for windows and it will be launched by the end of summer. This is a bad news for Skype for now it has a strong contender in the video calling services.
