CloudVelocity Raises $13 Million of Series C Funding

Santa Clara, California – CloudVelocity, a software that enables new and existing Linux and Windows multi-tier applications to run in the cloud without modification has raised $13 million of series C funding led by Third Point Ventures and backed by Pelion Venture Partners and previous investor Mayfield Fund.
“Today’s solutions for migrating existing apps into the cloud fall short for most enterprise apps,” said Rajeev Chawla, chief executive officer of CloudVelocity. “We automate five sets of critical processes and extend authentication and other network services into the cloud, making the cloud a seamless extension of the data center.”
The new funding will be used to accelerate the growth of the company.
