Lumos Labs Raises $31.5 M of Series D Funding for Its Lumosity Software

San Francisco, California – Lumos Labs, a company from neuroscientists of Stanford University and uses neuroscience to create brain exercises that train and improve core cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, and intelligence has raised $31.5 M of series D funding for its flagship product Lumosity.
The new funding came from the corporate media giant Discovery Communications and backed by existing investors Menlo Ventures, FirstMark Capital, Harrison Metal and Norwest Venture Partners. Lumos Labs now have a total funding of over $70 million.
The new funding will be used for more research in human cognitive for the Lumosity product and also for marketing and branding.
