Virident Systems Raises $26 M of Series D Funding

Milpitas, California – Virident Systems, a developer of flash-based SCM or Storage Class Memory for enterprise solutions has raised $26 M of series D funding led by Mitsui Global Investments and backed by Globespan Capital, Sequioa Capital and Artiman Ventures.
The new rounds of funding will be used for sales and marketing and also to develop new storage solution software for enterprise needs. The company now has a total of $76 million of funding.
