BetterLesson Raises $1.6 M of Venture Capital Funding

Cambridge, Massachusetts – BetterLesson, a startup founded by a group of teachers from Atlanta and Boston public schools to connect educators and help them create, organize, and share their curricula has raised $1.6 million of series A funding from venture capital firms and angel investors.
The investors include top venture capital firms Highland Capital Partners, General Catalyst, New Markets Ventures, and NewSchools Venture Fund and angel investors Steve Kaufer of Trip Advisor, Matt Greenfield, and Shawn and Jennifer Carolan.
The new funding will be used to add more employees and expand its platform for better user experience.
