GrabCAD Raises $8.15 M of Series B Funding

Cambridge, Massachusetts – GrabCad, a community of 3D designers, engineers and modelers sharing CAD models and resources for free has raised $8.15 million of series B funding. The funding was led by Charles River Ventures and backed by Yammer CEO David Sacks. The funding was also participated by existing investors Atlas Venture, NextView Ventures and Matrix Partners.
The new funding will be used to accelerate the company’s growth and build collaborative tools to improve the design and creation process. The company now has a total funding of $14 million.
