Cucumbertown Raises $300K of Seed Funding

Cucmbertown, a start-up which provides a community for cooks and people who loves to cook has raised $300 k of seed funding from angel investors including the AngelList founder Navel Ravikant, Paul Singh of 500Start-ups. Sizhao Yang who previously worked on Zynga, Maneesh Arora of MightyText, former Googler Richard Chen and Tabreez Verjee, the co-creator of Sonique Player.
The new start-up plans to replace the usual food blogging in wordpress, tumber or blogspot and replaces it with a new platform where a tribe of food lovers and food critics can easily upload pictures of their recipes and write a blog about it in a couple of minutes.
