BlueStacks Raises $6.4 M of Series B Funding

Campbell, California – BlueStacks, a developer of mobile apps that run in multi platform such as in Android and Windows has raised $6.4 M of series B funding from two giant microchip makers AMD and Citrix Systems. The funding was also backed up by top angel investor Andreessen Horowitz and other VC firms such as Ignition Partners, Radar Partners and Redpoint Ventures,
The new funding will be used to support its future apps and its currently in “alpha” mode app player for windows and also the funding will also be utilized for the creation of free downloadable mobile and web apps and also a cloud based server apps.
