iSocket Raises $8 M of Series A Funding

Burlingame, California – iSocket, an advertising platform company that is making ad sales very easy has raised $8 million of series A funding from Foundry Group and the new venture firm Costanoa Venture Capital. The first round funding was also backed by existing investors Tim Draper, Jeff Clavier, Accelerator Ventures, Quest Venture Partners, Blumberg Capital and other angel investors.
Aside from the new funding, isocket added new members of the board of directors. Seth Levine, the Managing Directors of Foundry Group and James Beriker, former VP of Yahoo Display Advertising are now part of the start-up boards.
