Spotify Has Raised A Series E Funding Valued At $3 Billion

New York, New York – Spotify, the most lightweight app that lets users stream and listen to music with almost no buffering has closed a masssive Series E funding amounting up to $3 billion from Goldman Sachs and previous investors Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers, Accel partners and other unnamed investors.
Spotify was launched in Luxemburg in 2006 and now as more than 15 millions subscriber worldwide and more than 4 million are premium users. The online company offers on-demand music and unlimited music streaming to more than 18 million tracks.
