Rapid7 Secured A $50 M of Series C Funding

Palo Alto, California – Rapid7, the leading provider of security risk intelligence solutions has raised $50 M of series C funding from Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) and now brings the company’s total funding to $60 million.
Rapid7′s technology has been providing security against attack to more than 1,700 customers and with a revenue of 900% increase. Their flagship product Nexpose has been the leading choice for Web, network, applications and database security.
The new funding will be used for additional employees, acquisition and global market expansion.
