Amobee has an advertising network for mobile operators. Amobee addresses three customers: mobile operators, publishers/developers and advertisers/agencies.
For mobile operators they provide an ad serving technology to place advertisements in all non-voice applications on the phone. Their ad server enables contextual and behavioral targeting across all users on all handsets. The only cost to the operator is a revenue share with Amobee.
Publishers/developers have access to the Amobee ad server that works across multiple channels. The contextual and behavioral targeting works in multiple types of applications such as games, WAP browsing, video & music, messaging etc. The ad server provides a single point for campaign management, reporting, optimization and commercial policy enforcement.
For advertisers/agencies they pool the mobile operators and publishers/developers user bases into one large advertising accessible audience. This Amobee Media Network is an audience organised around key verticals including games, video, music, messaging, youth, news, sports, travel, entertainment, and business.
Its software solution supports digital ad delivery to all mobile content and communication types, including WAP and mobile web, mobile games, mobile video and mobile messaging. Amobee launched its first live consumer trial in March of 2006 and has now several commercial operator launches including Vodafone, a strategic investor.
