Plum District Raises $30 Million of Series C Funding

San Francisco, California – Plum District, a daily deal site geared towards smart and savvy moms has raised $30 million of series C funding from General Catalyst Partners. Aside from the funding, Plum District also announced its acquisition of 2 daily deal sites; the mobile centric platform Chatterfly and its competitor, DoodleDeals which is a parent focused daily deals site.
According to Megan Garnder, the CEO of Plum District, the additional money from the Series C round is being used to expand the relationship between moms and local merchants.
