From its beginnings in 1979, SugarOak has grown into a full service real estate company offering construction, management, and investment services across multiple states and multiple property types. SugarOak currently has 44 employees.

Long Description:

In 2001, SugarOak began offering real estate investment opportunities to a select group of private investors. In its first investment offering, SugarOak put together a group of investors to purchase an office building in Chantilly, Virginia. In 2002 and 2003, SugarOak formed a group of tenant in common investors to purchase five class A office buildings totaling over 500,000 square feet in Richmond, Virginia. In 2004, SugarOak launched its first investment fund, the SugarOak Acquisition and Revitalization Fund (SOAR). SugarOak’s second fund, the SugarOak Opportunity Fund, opened in May 2009 and remains currently active.
