Kajeet Received $36.8 Million for a Childrens Cell Phone Service

Kajeet raised $36.8 Million in Series B funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Bessemer Venture Partners, Fidelity Ventures, Gabriel Venture Partners, and InterWest Partners.

What does Kajeet do?

Kajeet is a cellular service provider focused on the younger market through parents.

VCU says:

Kajeet provides a cellular phone service focused on the younger market by providing features that parents would like to have control over.

Features that parents will find interesting, is they can have the bill paid by them or their kids, they can block calls and texts from any number, and also determine when your children can and cannot use the phone.

Features that kids will like are the typical ring tones, wallpaper, games, mobile IM and more.
