Visible Measures Received $13.5 Million for Video Audience Tracking

Visible Measures raised $13.5 Million in Series B funding from Mohr David Ventures and General Catalyst Partners.

What does the Visible Measures do?

Visible Measures measures the audience interaction with video content.

VCU says:

Visible Measures tracks online video. The tracking is used to provide publishers and advertisers with better data.

Their technology captures every video interaction in every video from every viewer. The interaction consists of play to pause to rewind to forward-to-a-friend and more. For marketers this provides precise performance measurements including how audiences find, view, interact with, and share each online video.

The Visible Measures plug-in measures key usage information such as how long users watch, which segments of the video are replayed the most, and where most attention is spent, as well as how content is syndicated and spreads across the Internet.

Take a look at Visible Measures.
