Standout Jobs received $2 Million for an online job and recruiting site, funding provided by iNovia Capital.

What does Standout Jobs do?

Standout Jobs is an online job site with a twist as they utilize Web 2.0 interactivity, such as providing unique pages for each candidate as well as video.

VCU says:

Standout Jobs is in beta as of the writing of this article, and they plan to launch in the Fall of 2007. Various web 2.0 tools will be used such as: social media tools, including video, social networking, blogging and widgets.

An individual, the candidate, will have tools to assist them when trying to convey what they are about. Companies will also be able to tell their story using the web 2.0 tools to convey their office, culture, and others working there.
