Votigo Received $1.26 Million for User Generated Promotions Network

Votigo raised $1.26 Million in Series A funding from Headwaters Holdings and angel investors.

What does Votigo do?

Votigo is an online social media platform that helps marketers engage their customers through the use of user-generated content, branded social-networking communities, contests and promotions.

VCU says:

Votigo has a very interesting and smart service. These days user generage videos are very popular and have the chance of becoming viral. Marketers benefit when a video is created by a user, as there are no fees to the marketer. However, how does a marketer encourage users to create videos about their product or service and also assure the video portrays their product or service in a positive manner?

Hello Votigo. Marketers set up contests and promotions using their platform, users benefit from potentially winning and everyone wins. They also provide photo contests.

From the Votigo site they state that they work directly with advertising agencies, PR firms and marketers to meet their promotional needs. They work with some of the top brands in Music, Entertainment, Retail, Advertising and Internet.

Take a look at Votigo.
