Gigya Received $9.5 Million for a Widget Distribution Network

Gigya raised a $9.5 Million in Series B funding from Mayfield Fund, Benchmark Capital and First Round Capital.

What does Gigya do?

Gigya is a widget distribution network.

VCU says:

Gigya currently installs hundreds of thousands of widgets per day. They track over three billion widget impressions per month. Currently their clients include Kimberly-Clark, MTV, Levis, Sprint, Toyota, and more.

Gigya allows advertisers to reach the social media users through these widgets. Essentially Gigya has created an advertising network reaching through the widgets much like publishers and allowing advertisers to reach the consumer of the widget.

Take a look at Gigya.
