Giant Realm Received $3.5 Million for a Niche Advertising Network

Giant Realm raised $3.5 Million in funding from Comcast Interactive Capital and the Edison Venture Fund.

What does Giant Realm do?

Giant Realm is a niche online advertising network focused on reaching the 16-34 year old demographic through aggregating sites in the video game, music and entertainment industries.

VCU says:

Giant Realm is creating an online advertising network to reach a specific demographic. While others aggregate common sites with one industry, Giant Realm is aggregating any sites which it believes will allow it to reach the 16-34 year old demographic. They are focusing on video game, music and entertainment sites.

They state that according to Google Analytics their aggregate sites reach over 11 million individuals every month, while comScore Media Metrix’s January 2008 report indicates that Giant Realm is one of the fastest growing entities on the web.
