Webjam raised $2 Million from French venture capital firm I-Source Gestion.

What does Webjam do?

Create your own space (choose a template for a blog, personal page, public profile or start from scratch) as their tagline is “the Web the Way you Want®”

VCU says:

Webjam describes itself as a community site as opposed to a social network.

When joining you can create your own personal page or space, for lack of a better word. Each page may be constructed with the features you want, add your own personal information “about me” , a blog, modules that pull in content from other sites. These modules can pull content from RSS feeds, if you wish to aggregate all your favorite content in one page for yourself or to share.

As they say on the site they provide you with the ability to create and share, as well as discover and organize.

Their tools are easy to use, including a drag-and-drop interface and a rich catalogue of modules and styles. Webjam attempts to make publishing and sharing really simple.

We could not find a real differentiator from other blogs, communities, social networks, or even a personalize Google page (however it lacks a blog).
