Covestor Received $6.5 Million for a Real Trade Sharing Service

Covestor received $6.5 Million in Series A funding from Union Square Ventures, Spark Capital and Amadeus Capital Partners. Our original story regarding undisclosed funding in July 2007.

What does Covestor do?

Covestor allows investors to share their stock trading anonymously.

VCU says:

Covestor is an investors community that you may join after filling out an application. You prove your own investments skills, track others trades, and can earn fess for your information.

The premise is that the smartest investors are not all professional money managers.

All data is private, normalized and anonymous, and membership is free.
