Move Networks Received $46 Million for their Video Publishing System

Move Networks received $46 Million in series C funding from Benchmark Capital, Cisco, Comcast Interactive Media and Televisa. Move Networks previously raised $45 million in two previous rounds.

What does Move Networks do?

Move Networks provides a video streaming technology with high definition capabilities and elimination of streaming.

VCU says:

Move Networks provides a platform for content owners to publish their content, tools for publishing, and a streaming platform. They state that their technology is cheaper due to the fact that they use traditional web servers and HTTP requests as opposed to expensive media servers.

Move Networks provides live and on demand streaming as well as detailed statistics and reporting about the viewers. They also provide streaming of high definition content and claim to eliminate buffering.
