Limbo Raises $8 Million : Mobile Entertainment Services
April 26, 2007

Limbo has raised $8 Million from Azure Capital Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and New Enterprise Associates.

What does Limbo 41414 do?

Limbo 41414 is a mobile entertainment company engaging consumers with games and allowing marketers to advertise to them.

VCU says:

Limbo 41414 has an engaging text messaging system you can play games with after viewing their site. Their game allows you to pick a prize, text the lowest bid price you would like to buy the prize for, and if you have the lowest unique bid price you will win the item for that price. As an example they have sold a Hummer H3 for $36.65 and a Mini Cooper for $50.43.

Their unique mobile game allows companies to attract new customers, promote their products, such as the Hummer, and in the end companies hope to retain their customers.
