Red Bend Received $10 Million for Mobile Software Management

Red Bend received $10 Million in funding from Coral Capital Management, Carmel Ventures, Greylock Partners, Pitango Venture Capital, Poalim Ventures and Infinity.

What does Red Bend do?

Red Bend provides firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updating and mobile software management solutions.

VCU says:

Red Bend provides firmware over the air (FOTA) updating. Per their last press release their software now reaches more than 305 million mobile phones. An incredible number that few can claim.

Their Software provides mobile phone manufacturers and network operators instant contact and more control. They can accelerate the adoption of new services and features and respond rapidly to customer needs and reduce support costs through the Red Bend software management solutions.

Large manufacturers such as LG Electronics, Motorola, NEC, Sharp, Sony Ericsson and others use Red Bend`s FOTA client.

Red Bend was founded in 1999 and has offices in China, Israel, Japan, Korea, the U.K and the U.S.
