JAJAH Raises $20 Million for a Combination of Real World/Internet Telephony
May 11, 2007

JAJAH raised $20 Million from Intel Capital.

What does JAJAH do?

JAJAH provides telephony using both the best telephony solutions of offline and online to provide the cheapest calling prices possible, while still making a profit of course.

VCU says:

It is interesting to see services that are 100% online or VOIP and others that are completely offline compete for rates. JAJAH is combining the best of both worlds, assuming that at the moment the best pricing can fluctuate depending on the origin, network, and termination of your call.

They seem to be running their company with the same approach, that no one place is perfect for everything, currently they are headquarted in Mountain View, have a European office, and their development is out of their office in Israel.

JAJAH went live in 2006, expect them to be a worthy competitor in the telephony space.
