Eye-Fi Raises $5.5 Million for Online Digital Photo Service
June 11, 2007

Eye-Fi raises $5.5 million in their Series A for an online digital photo service from Opus Capital and Shasta Ventures.

What does Eye-Fi do?

Eye-Fi provides a service to send images directly from your camera to various destinations, including a computer, and online photo and social networking sites for instant sharing.

VCU says:

Currently Eye-Fi is in beta and it is now a closed beta. Unfortunately we do not have a beta account and cannot comment on the service at the moment.

The basic idea of sending images directly from your phone to various destinations of your choosing sounds interesting, see their site Eye-Fi Here.
