Smartsheet Raises $2.69 Million for Online Web 2.0 Application
June 14, 2007

Smartsheet received $2.69 Million for an online web 2.0 application from Madrona Venture Group.

What does Smartsheet do?

Smartsheet has an online collaborative task management tool.

VCU says:

The website name is “Smartsheet” which may lead you to believe it is a spreadsheet, however the application is much more robust than that. You are able to manage tasks, projects and processes.

Since the application is online you obviously do not need to install anything, and you can share your sheets with others.

You may sign up and obtain a free account, and additional functionality is available for anywhere from $25 to $150 a month. I was able to sign up for an account in a matter of minutes, choose a template that caught my eye for pay-per-click advertising, and begin using with little to no instruction. The site is clean, easy to use and understand, take a look at Smartsheet.
