Cooking.com Received $13 Million for the Cooking eCommerce Site

Cooking.com raised $13 Million in Series B funding from Azure Capital Partners and venture debt from ORIX Venture Finance. Previously Cooking.com Received $7 Million in funding, January of 2008.

What does Cooking.com do?

Cooking.com provides is an eCommerce site for cooking products.

Cooking.com provides a shopping site with more than 90,000 products for your kitchen. They also provide recipes, over 10,000, and a community of cooks and food lovers.

They have been in business for almost ten years and pride themselves on having extensive customer reviews, demonstration videos and buying guides.

Therefore visitors are not just there to shop, but also to find recipes, to give and get mealtime tips, and to meet other cooks who love food, cooking and sharing their experiences in the kitchen.

As they have been around for almost ten years, their site is well thought out and has had steady growth reaching a niche market.
