We have read that SnapTell received over $4 Million, funders from their site are New Enterprise Associates and JK&B Capital.
What does SnapTell do?
SnapTell allows you to comparison shop with your mobile phone.
VCU says:
SnapTell allows you to comparison shop in real time with your mobile phone. After taking a picture of the items product label you then send it back to SnapTell. SnapTell compares the price to online retailers letting you know if it can be found cheaper.
What is even more interesting is that they will sell advertising. An advertiser may then target an individual who is ready to make a purchase thereby actually providing the right ad to the right person at the right time – nothing short of fascinating.
