Ultizen Raises $1.5 Million for Outsourced Video Game Development

Ultizen Games receives $1.5 Million in series A funding from Dragonvest Partners.
What does Ultizen do?
Ultizen provides outsourced video game development in China.
VCU says:
Ultizen Games is based in Shanghai, China. They provide game development services to North American, European and Japanese clients. They develop for traditional console game platforms as well as new platforms such as Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.
Ultizen states they have a 150 person studio providing game design, porting, programming, testing, art, sound effects, localization, and background environment development.
Currently they are in the final stages of designing their first title for the X-Box platform. They plan to offer mobile game development and outsourcing services in late 2008.
They also provide 40 online games specifically developed for Chinese websites.
