Connectbeam Received $3.5 Million for Enterprise Social Networking

Connectbeam raised $3.5 Million from Gabriel Venture Partners and Startup Capital Ventures.

What does Connectbeam do?

Connectbeam is an enterprise social bookmarking and social networking service.

VCU says:

Connectbeam is harnessing the best features of social networking functionality and providing it to companies in a secure manner. Their social software empowers employees to be more innovative and productive.

They believe that Social Networks inside enterprises will be formed and maintained in the context of information sharing and discovery.

Connectbeam also believes that enterprise workers have difficulty locating and connecting with colleagues, partners and other enterprise stakeholders whose information interests and expertise can advance their own work quickly.

The Connectbeam products have been created to solve the above issues.
